2021 National Social Value Conference

Virtual | 23-24 February 2021

We were excited to be a supporting partner of the 2021 National Social Value Conference hosted by Social Value Portal. This year’s theme was focused on how to support businesses to help our communities to recover, rebuild and renew.

Organised by the National Social Value Taskforce and supported by the Local Government Association and Social Value Portal, the conference brought together experts to share good practice and innovative ideas on embedding social value into business, and how to bridge the gap between public, private and third sector organisations.

Principal Consultant, Antony Mitchell was invited to speak at a session on ‘Integrating social value in central government’ hosted by Crown Commercial Service. The session also included the authors of the Procurement Policy Note PPN06/20. This describes how central government is now committed to embedding social value into all contracts with a weighting of at least 10%, which is changing the face of central government procurement.
