What are your main responsibilities in your current role and how has it evolved?
A bit of everything. My primary focus is to enable and support the Global Sales Team to manage and develop relationships with customers that use our software. The ‘Solutions Specialist’ role was new to Commerce Decisions and I was brought in to be reactive to ensure customers are getting the most out of our software.
In addition to my primary focus I also support sales operations with the generation of reports as well as supporting the product team with the continued improvements to our product and service lines.
What is your current focus/priorities?
To ensure our customers are happy with their AWARD® solution as well as supporting the Commerce Decisions Product Manager with the requirements generation for future product improvements.
What’s your background?
I have a technical background with a good track history supporting sales functions to maintain positive relationships with their software customers. This experience allows me to work with our customer base across the globe, making sure AWARD® is being utilised to it’s full potential.
What do you enjoy doing in your spare time?
I am not happy unless I have a project on the go. Over the Christmas period I built an office in my garden that would give me space outside of the house to work in – this was one of the best decisions I’ve made. I now have a 5 second commute across my garden and a dedicated work space. I also thoroughly enjoy cooking, going on adventures with my little family and a beer or two at my local.
What’s one thing you’re currently trying to make a habit?
Consistent exercise. I have a love/hate relationship with exercise but I want to try and make sure as I am getting older I am maintaining a healthy lifestyle.
