Weighting, Worth and Wargaming

Optimising Your Complex Procurement

Procurements can be a long time in preparation, but they really get going with the firming up of requirements and the development of criteria for selecting between possible suppliers; these are then used as the basis of tender invitations and subsequent evaluation of the contenders.

But in the middle of this process is an opportunity to tune the tender invitation to make sure that it gives a favourable outcome. This means adjusting some of the key variables to make sure that there is a real competition and that it delivers a solution that is acceptable on a technical level but without undue cost.

Hence this webinar looks at the subtleties of criteria weighting, value for money models and the use of wargaming and sensitivity analysis to understand what could happen. Most importantly it discusses the way these techniques interact and have to be used in concert.

The next sessions will be taking place on:

9th May 2024 10:00am-11:00am
4th July 2024 10:00am-11:00am
5th September 2024 10:00am-11:00am
