Bid Evaluation Support for Canada’s Director General, Major Project Delivery Air & Land

Commerce Decisions, successfully competed for a strategically important contract with the Government of Canada to support the bid evaluation processes on complex, high risk procurements within the Director General, Major Project Delivery Air & Land (DGMPD (A&L)) division. The first projects to be supported are Remotely Piloted Aircraft System (RPAS) and Logistics Vehicle Modernization (LVM). 

Commerce Decisions will support the design, definition and implementation of a robust assessment process and the development of a bid evaluation plan to support the competitive procurement process for both the RPAS and LVM projects, as well as other projects in this division, as determined by DGMPD (A&L).

The contract was awarded via the DND TSPS Supply Arrangement (Task and Solutions Professional Services), following a competitive bidding process. 

About DGMPD (A&L)

DGMPD (A&L) is the division of DND with responsibility for the delivery of major acquisition projects for both the Royal Canadian Air Force and the Canadian Army. 

The Remotely Piloted Aircraft System (RPAS) project will acquire a medium altitude and armed Remotely Piloted Aircraft System along with associated equipment, weapons, infrastructure and in-service sustainment capability. It will support up to three concurrent lines of operation, domestic or international. The project supports Strong, Secure, Engaged initiatives #50 and #91.

The Logistics Vehicle Modernization (LVM) project will acquire new fleets of light and heavy logistics vehicles, trailers, vehicle modules, armour protection kits, initial in-service and logistics support and fund associated permanent infrastructure upgrade and construction requirements. The project is linked to Strong, Secure, Engaged Initiative #40.
