As we welcome in another new year, we look back and reflect over what was a challenging and yet rewarding 2021. Although the impact of Covid-19 still affects ours and many other businesses, last year saw us attending live events again for the first time since early 2020. It was great to be able to get back to in-person meetings and interact with customers, partners and colleagues again. We’ve celebrated successes globally, with a number of key clients renewing their contracts with us and new clients onboarding – we couldn’t be more invigorated to start the new year on a high.
Coming into 2022, we have a lot to look forward to. As always, we are continually innovating our core AWARD® capabilities, gathering intelligence and best practice from across the globe in order to provide our clients with the latest solutions to support the best possible outcomes on their strategic procurements. In particular, and in response to client demand, we are working on new developments to our sensitivity analysis capability.
In 2021, we were excited to launch our Masterclass Series, which has proved exceptionally popular from the outset. The Masterclass brings together 5 expert courses which, once completed, will give you the knowledge and skills you need to achieve the best value for money outcomes on your projects. The 5 courses are:
- Principles of Tender Evaluation
- Evaluation Preparation and Guidance
- Weighting Workshop
- Value for Money
- Effective Criteria Writing
Make 2022 the year your team excels at every stage of the procurement journey – find out more about the Evaluation Masterclass.
Staying with training, we launched a new course at the end of 2021 to help buyers understand what Social Value is and how to apply it to a procurement. Incorporating Social Value into public sector procurement is now a critical focus for teams worldwide, with many governments mandating a minimum threshold. Interest in the training has been strong, and we have our first courses booked in for delivery this month. Alongside the training, our consultants are on hand to help ensure that you establish the best possible Social Value outcome for your project.
Our main focus as a business is, as it always has been, to deliver the best possible outcomes to our customers. Our Pro, Plus, Premium solution offerings now give project teams the power to decide which package of software and support works for them to enable achievement of their goals.
Last but not least, 2022 will see the introduction of our brand new Learning Management System, ATLAS™. ATLAS™ will offer easily-accessible content to guide and instruct users with AWARD®, as well as giving them a great opportunity to take control of their own learning and development programmes with interactive courses, live tutorials and a plethora of material to refresh their knowledge of procurement processes and techniques.
In 2021, we celebrated our 20th year as a business and our first full year as part of the Harris family after being acquired in November 2020. As we stride forward into a new year, we can’t wait for what’s to come, and look forward to collaborating with you in 2022 and beyond.
