Commerce Decisions has secured a strategically important contract with Infrastructure Ontario (IO), a Crown Agency owned by the Province of Ontario. IO provides a wide range of services to support the Ontario government’s initiatives to modernize and to maximize the value of public infrastructure and real estate.
IO acts as procurement and commercial lead for major public infrastructure projects in the province, including transit and transportation projects and social infrastructure projects such as hospitals, courthouses and educational facilities. IO also manages Ontario’s real estate portfolio.
Alongside the successful delivery of critical major projects, IO is focused on enhancing efficiencies, achieving cost savings, ensuring transparency and fairness. To this aim, Infrastructure Ontario has contracted with Commerce Decisions for the provision of its AWARD® supplier engagement and selection solution. AWARD® will support IO in evaluating proponents’ bids rigorously and delivering robust decisions. AWARD® has been proven to significantly reduce risk, cost and time to contract, and has successfully supported over $350 billion procurements globally, including over 75 P3 projects.
